Please Help!

Can anyone give me the current "worth" of the Centenary Volume (published in 1992). This volume was published by Houghton Mifflin and includes the fifty original paintings by Alan Lee. Only 250 volumes were printed - I have #38 of 250. There is a small indentation on the spine, and the slipcase was damaged in a move. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I've checked all auction sites out there, but no one has any of these listed. Feel free to respond at my email addy (Harp-Steph@home.com). Thanks!

I doubt the value for such a recent copy would have gone up in any noticable way. Also, the damage would greatly effect the cost (even such a small amount), so that it has probably gone down in value. Doens't chang ethe fact that it's sitll worht having though!

Cool! Sorry, can't help you but Alan Lee is the best! I would love to see (and have, but won't be able to afford it) the Centenary Volume. How big are the pictures?

Maybe they can help you with that at your local library Aryne..? I myself am not sure. Unless you can search the book's serial number or something.

thing susually dotn work that way. If its anywhere itll be inside where the copyright info is and if its not there it probably came with some certificate with the info on it. THats how most of these limited editions work. (Dad is a publisher so I got the downlow on this stuff)

Here is my permanent apology for off-topicing. If I do it, which i will, I am sorry. I feel bad about it but being an elfbit messes with your head and things get wonky so spamming is almost inevitable. There will be good replys but for when I do off-topic I am deeply sorry.
