Goodbye?

As you all know Y2K is just around the corner. I personally don't think there will be catastrophic events, but who knows? Will those of us who only communicate via the internet ever see each other again? The truth is we have no way of telling. So I guess this is a goodbye thread, just in case this is goodbye. I know I won't be here for at least three days, since there will supposedly be a lot of people sending viruses over the net as the new year comes in. So just in case I'm staying away. I hope to see you all have a happy and safe New Year's, and I hope to see you all in 200! This is Darth Tater signing off.

Since no one will be surprised by Jae's post, I have decided to leave it intact and not deleted it. It will serve it's purpose as an example of flaming. Those not quite familiar with this terminology, can come back here and refresh their memory. Well, it looks like we all survived. I thought we would, don't get me wrong, but I felt I'd post that just in case, cause there was always the what if factor. Anyways, here we are.

Tater, it was silly; think of it this way: If the world ended, no one would be able to ridicule you for your message because we'd all be gone. But, as was likely and what did occur, the world did not end, so any references to it doing so would be looked upon in scorn :P So the only appropriate thing to do would be firm that the world would not end, because either it would and people would think no more of your comments, or it would and people wouldn't get to respond to your comments
