The Rhyming Game
This game is played as follows:
I begin the game by posting a sentence. The next poster posts a sentence which last word rhymes with the last word in my sentence. Let it be a couple sentences - a beginning, a mid and an end. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 03-15-2011 at 04:29 PM. |

"Bert," said Will. "Don't play no games!"

Hm, maybe one could refine the rules a bit.
There is a very limited number of words that rhyme with the Thames (and games I'm sorry to say isn't one of them)

And will the next poster then post a new sentence for the next poster to complete the couplet - or will you all be running down the Thames indefinitely?

(I hope the edited rules will make this easier)

[OOC]Yes, I was going to ask if it was just going to be in pairs or what, but I was using my iPod and the typing was bothering my husband. Another question is "Is this going to be one long continuous poem, or kind of a series of short rhyming couplets?"
And what, you mean you don't pronounce "Thames" as "tames"? Well, I live in the Midwest USA. You can't blames me! Edit: Actually, I thought they were on the river in Southern Connecticut, not the British one. That one's pretty much overexposed. ...I'm guessing there shouldn't be a whole lot of "OOC"s here.[/OOC] New couplet.. Huh... A leak then sprung in the hull of the boat...

Especially since he tried to rhyme with dames which wouldn't do for the overexposed London river anyway And now in a hurry to try to stay afloat...
