Strider Sons of Tuor

In the last part of chapter 12: of Men, the last paragraph speaks about Tuor's 3 sons. But however i looked them up on Tolkien's Gateway, and their birth isn't till 500 years after the rising of the sun.

Why are these people mentioned so early in the book?

This is a paragraph which looks forward into the future, before the story goes back to the normal narrative - that's probably why characters who will become prominent in the future are named in it.

Not sure who you mean by Tuor's three sons - he didn't have three sons, just one, and I don't see him mentioned in that paragraph either.

His son, daughter-in-law and grandchild are mentioned, though.

Since when did Tuor have 3 sons? Him and Idril only had the one and that was Earendil, the father of Elrond and Elros at least to my knowledge.

Yes, we told the thread-starter that. You're quite right about his only son being Eärendil.
