LOTR for Dummies?
Does anyone know if there is such a book? Or perhaps Tolkien for Dummies? Or any book along those lines.

I'm not surprised it's junk. There really isn't any way to simplify LotR without making a laughingstock out of it. Is the book written by Peter Jackson & Phillipa Boyens, BTW?

No. Some other dude. But treating Middle-Earth like a computer book is a recipe for disaster. It just doesn't work. Plus it misses out a whole bunch of stuff (can't remember exactly what as it's been a while since I perused it & wrote it off).

Ohh, i see. I wasnt sure if it was going to be reliable, just something to sharpen my...eh...Tolkien Trivia perhaps?
