Yahoo Mail and Gmail merging?
Is this the cause of the trouble Im having with logging in on Gmail?

I have no troubles whatsoever.
By the way, I haven't heard anything of a Google/Yahoo merge? I do know that Microsoft attempted to take over Yahoo, but they failed.

No they are not merging. Google is not even owned by Microsoft, which tried to take over Yahoo which failed.

Anyone else had trouble logging in and when it finally does dld the page its a BAREBONES NON-HTML page where chatting is not possible for example. |

Didn't have any trouble with gmail.
As far as Google and Yahoo merging, the only news I've read is that Google had plans to cooperate more with Yahoo on advertising level.

My gmail has been fine. Maybe this is a european google mail thing?
I don't see yahoo and google merging, but if they do I don't think that they'd consolidate their mail services. The interfaces are so different. People would get mad. Gmail is much much better, imo.

You had me worried there GW. I can't stand Yahoo and I'd hate to have them mess up my Gmail account.
Why don't I like Yahoo? Because at the slightest pressure from Chinese authorities, they fold like a cheap tent and help prosecute a Chinese journalist. Well - I dont know what it was - so I figured since they are messing up one of my blog sites (Yahoo Friends 360) I assumed they were messing up mails on collusion wih other search engines too.
