Yes.

And to spark a trilogy-vs.-stand-alone debate, I might say that it looks like it's going to be as funny, corny, and pointless as the second film was.

oh, i don't know

I personally think that the new pirates should be better than the second one, which IMO was a RRRRREEEEEEAAALLLLLYYYYYY long trailer/work up for , well you know, this one! so I personally have hopes for this.
That's just me

This review sums up the Dead man's chest pretty well.

It looks good, but I still think the 1st one was the best.

I agree, dead man's chest was a little disorganized and not well thought out.

Sorry, fc, (can I call you that?) but I have to disagree that it was not well-though-out. It actually had the most plot of any movie I have seen in a good while. It was somewhat disorganized, though. Glad to see ya post!

Edgar Alan Poe and Oscar Wilde rock. They are actually better than rocks.
Beautiful Soup
and A Tomato Ate My Sister are the most educational and intellectual songs ever created, challenging the scholarly power of the great philosophers.

On TB's sig, Don't worry about the world ending today, tomorrow, or next week, just worry about it ending now.

That was hilarious! I totally agree. Dead Mans Chest was a giant rambling mess. The line qouted below is exactly how I felt after seeing it.

"...but they never finish any of(the plot lines). They think about it, but then they just keep adding more plot lines...It's a never ending story...only with no luck dragon."

So funny.

I highly doubt the next one will be much better.

I like the part where he says "I don't know if there was a director but a name got thrown around and it was Gore Verbinsky, I would say there was not enough Gore and too much Verbinsky, which is russian for bad dialogue"

Yeah! Funny. It's sort of true...where is all the gore? Not that I'm the sort of guy who really needs lots, or any gore. But you would think in a movie series full of pirates fighting there'd be a little more of it? It's a little...childish?

Bwaaahahahahhahahahahaaaa!!!

Oh that is awesome. Yes, it sums it up wonderfully. Heheh, Oh that rocks. He hit it on the head too...

"Keira Knightly- A more Manly version of Orlando Bloom" I love ninja.

As for this new movie, I dont have hopes for it. At best, its going to be more bad dialogue and Sparrow and Co. dithering around on screen.
