Strider 'Eye' see you?

Allright, just something I nodiced and thought might be fun to discuss.

In the movies they show Sourons eye on top of the tower looking at people, and when he sees Frodo he says "I see you".

It sounds an awful lot like a pun to me, an eye saying "I see you"

(Encase anyone is not familiar with spoken Engilish "I" sounds like "eye")

So, well, go ahead and discuss!

Note to Admins/Mods: Sorry if this is a subject too simple to discuss for a thread.

Maybe it was "AYE see you." Or "Aye. See you!"

Or maybe it was "I-C-U" - which, as we all know, stands for "Intensive Care Unit" at a hospital.

Perhaps Sauron was having a discussion with someone at the Tower who we could not see, or with himself, or an imaginary friend, and when asked about somebody elses's health, was in the process of explaining where they were and how they were doing... while his "eye" just happened to pass by Frodo...

Plausible??

ROFL! Yeah, Sauron wasn't even talking to Frodo at the time. Those hobbits just read too much into every little snippet of convo they hear!

Of corse then that would mean that when the eye of Souron passes over someone they can hear everything that Souron is saying
