Dumbest thing you've done recently...

Yeah, I had a really humbling moment yesterday, and decided to start a thread about dumb things people have done. Here's mine.
I was out doing target practise with my paintball gun, when my little brother (10 yrs) walked up. The trigger on his gun wouldn't move, and he wanted help. So I fiddled with it a while, made sure the safety was off, etc. Finally, pointing it down I decided to see if the CO2 canister still had air or not. So I put my hand ovr the muzzle of the gun and tried again to pull the trigger. Well, it worked, I now have an absolutly huge swollen bruise on my left hand. It's quite painful. Luckly, I'm right handed.

All covered in scratches.

Make 300 copies of a sheet when 70 where needed... cost me 20$ instead of 5!

"Fixed" my gas water heater. Boy did I fix it. It worked, but there was a small leak. It cost me about $400. I could have bought a new one and paid a professional.

Hmmm... I dunno. I just cut the side of my foot, and now it's bleeding... Excuse me while I grab some hydrogen peroxide.

Never held a cat over a sink, but I have tried to make my Iguana go back into his cage when he didn't want to. Tons of scratches from that.

LOL, Gil. When I fis things they are either permanently fixed or permanently broke.

I tend to cut myself too. Hilarious thing is, I'm the survival/safetly teacher at camp! I'm extremely accident prone, but never anything big.

The last dumb thing I've done was when I forgot to turn the stove off. It got really hot before I discovered it.

Last time I forgot to turn off the stove, I burned a big hole in the middle of one of our best plastic bowls.

My mother-in-law once put a plastic steamer basket thingy (one of those things with lots of petal-type appendages that takes about a week to dry by hand)in the oven to dry. Then she forgot about it. Next time she turned on the oven, well, the kitchen filled up with this thick black smoke and noxious smell. There was a black, sooty deposit all over everything... And my mother-in-law is a real neat freak! I think she was still finding the sooty stuff a month later!

Bof, just make them a little high and happy ...

the co. uses reformulated stuff that doesn't suck all the O2 out of the room anymore...

Ooh ooh ooh, me me me, i did something stupid today!!
Me and my friend soaked a tennis ball in gasoline, lit it on fire, and played catch with it. I have no idea what we were thinking. But one things for sure, I have no hair left on my knuckles.

Judging the headache I have now, the stupidest think I did recently was drinking all that Tequila... o darn...
