Entmoot T-Shirt
I was just reading Earthbound's sig about an Entmoot T-shirt, and thought that I would really like one, too! What do you guys think about a t-shirt design contest, with all submissions being available for free down-load if a person wants to make a t-shirt out of them? We can vote on a winner, and that person will have undying glory to the end of their days (but no money
 ) and might see their creation on someone one of these days!I like Darth Tater's Treebeard guy for the Entmoot board, but I think I'd like something a little different for a t-shirt. I like the script he used, though - kind of a semi-Tengwar thing, like a lot of LOTR stuff is written. We have lots of artists here - what do you guys think?

I'm gonna pipe up and agree with Rian - I, too, would love to have an Entmoot t-shirt, ENTmoot not Tolkien Trail, (of course no disrespect intended)but I also really like the idea of an independent Entmoot shirt & design.

How would someone send a pic (format/size/ect.)....and what would we want????
I like the lettering "Entmoot" at the top of the page, but a picture of Fangorn Forest beneath/behind would be appropriate without getting cartoony. I want something classy/cool looking that I can wear at work...pppppplease.

Hehehe. Okay, okay, enough kidding around
.I'm sure that if we all come up with something, and then e-mail the design to Bmilder that he'll be happy to go with it. The only problem being that we probably need to stick to ONE design, because unless you pay a monthly fee with that online shop thing, you only get one design. I have a feeling Ben's paying enough for the server and Ezboard as it is that he's not gonna want to pay MORE just to get multiple t-shirts . |

But I think we wouldn't even have to bother Ben - couldn't we just download, or have the artist email to us, whichever one we like and then take it to our local copy store and get our own t-shirt made of it? Or print it on our own printer onto that iron-on paper and iron it on a t-shirt ourselves? That's what I was thinking. But it would be nice to have an "official" Entmoot one on the website, tho, too, available for people to order, that may not be able to do their own.

Yeah, that's a good idea Rian - I'd want the design to be unanimous with everyone so that there's an Entmoot design that all of us around the world can recognise and wear. I'd e-mail a design idea myself, but I'm not a terrific designer, so hopefully some other mooters will submit ideas. Then, after a previously agreed upon time, us mooters can try to vote on a favourite design to be used "officially", at which point we can just download that design and get the image printed onto a shirt (or mug) ourselves. What say ye?
