I asked Radagast the Brown once, who I think was running the place, and he said something about...whatwasitnow...well, I can't quite remember really...think it was: 'not enough money to maintain it and too little activity to be worthy of keeping it going', or similar. May be some other thread on it, somewhere.

He use to post a lot here at Entmoot. He was our official birthday greetings boy. He started the "Happy Birthday" thread here and it is used almost everyday.

Lol, anyone remember his 'Emplynx Padlocks of Doom'?

Tristan, I just noticed that your custom title has the England-English version of 'saviour'... [/random thought]

Well, Emplynx was the one who made Tooktalk. But he went to a college I think... and decided to stop paying for Tooktalk. so the original site of Tooktalk is closed, but Hobinator, who was a mod in Tooktalk, decided to pay for it, and to put it in his site. It's suppose to be ready... don't know when. It takes them more time than they thought it wqould take...

It will be in 'www.hobinator.com/tooktalk' wqhen it'll be ready.

It's not up at that address, but here's something funny from Hobinator's site:
Quote:
June 30, 2004
Windows 95

Recently one of my friends, a computer wizard, payed me a visit. As we were talking I mentioned that I had recently installed Windows 95 on my PC, I told him how happy I was with this operating system and showed him the Windows 95 CD. Too my surprise he threw it into my micro-wave oven and turned on the oven. Instantly I got very upset, because the CD had become precious to me, but he said: 'Do not worry, it is unharmed.' After a few minutes he took the CD out, gave it to me and said: 'Take a close look at it.' To my surprise the CD was quite cold to hold and it seemed to be heavier than before. At first I could not see anything, but on the inner edge of the central hole I saw a inscription, an inscription finer than anything I have ever seen before. The inscription shone piercingly bright, and yet remote, as if out of a great depth:

12413AEB2ED4FA5E6F7D78E78BEDE8209450
920F923A40EE10E510CC98D444AA08E1324

'I cannot understand the fiery letters,' I said. 'No but I can,' he said. 'The letters are Hex, of an ancient mode, but the language is that of Microsoft, which I shall not utter here. But in common English this is what it says:' One OS to rule them all, One OS to find them, One OS to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

Now where have I seen that before? (The modernised version I mean )
