Congratulations to Hectorberlioz

I and the rest of the staff of Entmoot would like to extend our congratulations to Hectorberlioz, the actual winner of the Entmoot Election 2004. Although the announcement at the top of the forums states it is me, it was part of the April Fools joke, but Hector is our new president, and a fine one he will be, I am sure.

Just a little explanation on the joke. We planned for the election to be fair and square in the end, but for today, in the spirit of Entmoot and April Fools Day, we decided to make me the winner and to demote my status of admin to forum mod. We had our yearly revolt and some great cooperation from a lot of great mooters.

I would like to thank everyone that participated in the revolt

Khamul for moderating the whole thing alone and letting us have our fun.

Fat Middle- For mapping out the plan.

Haha! I was expecting SGH to be reinstated as President after she got her admin title back. That was an extremely detailed plan.

So today was an absolute victory!
Except I fell for it, and in it, and everything.

I was late in entering the race, and my re-entering I owe to Bombadillo, Gollumwhatshisname, JD, and to my VP and good friend, Nurvingiel, who has always been helping me, and supporting me.

I was quite overjoyed to find that my supporters were more than I expected. I made some good friends with mooters I hadnt talked to before (Artanis, and Lizra, who now wants to decorate christmas trees

). It was a joy to campaign sometimes, and sometimes it was a pain (I was frequently having headaches...).

This evening, at about 6:00 (over here anyway) my sister and I took a walk. It was then that she revealed who had won the election-Sister Golden Hair, my good friend and frequent conversation buddy.
My sis also said "what if you are really the winner, and they're just playing an april fools prank?". I doubted it, and congratulated SGH in my mind...

Coming to entmoot later on...the prank was still going, and I still didnt suspect. I somehow got it in my head (from seeing all the threads closed and started my Khamul) that the race was not over, and that Khamul was running. Lol!

I got off for a few hours (I was "defragmenting" my computer files) and when I got back on...what a surprise!!

I know you are sincerely interested in the welfare of Entmoot and the presidency couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!!!

I'm glad you now know that Hector Berlioz was a big-time feline fancier!!! (Makes me want to become more familiar with his work!)

I wish I could have stayed around longer to play yesterday, though I certainly had a lot of fun baiting JD and giving poor Val a hard time in his quest for power...(sorry...heeheehee, but it was fun picking on you...)
