Mooting on Channel 7
I just thought of this a few days ago when I was riding my bicycle. If you have a walkie talkie (a real one), or any other types of radios, go to channel 7 and talk to whoever you can (depends on whether you have a walkie talkie or another type of radio). My walkie talkies only go about five miles, but it would be nice if just one mooter lived within reception distance. I'll be on from about 4 to 7 Pacific time. If you live in the San Fernando valley, try to see if I'm on.

Gee, that seems like a long shot and maybe a difficult way to communicate with other mooters. Why don't you just befriend some of them and exchange phone numbers? That is what I and others have done. It's much easier than walkie talkies.
