Personally, I am not a big fan of chat rooms. They tend to get boring fast and little discussion occurs. Bulletin boards are much better, imo. But for realtime discussion, why not talk to one of us board members through AIM or ICQ? You can check our profiles or this thread to find out our accounts.

Xivigg isn't new on this board. Or are you talking to Eowyn?

Ok, totally unrelated, but you know how some ppl can see my icon and some can't? I don't understand why that is. Sometimes I can see it, and sometimes I can't. It makes no difference what computer I'm using--if I go to the link for the pic, and click on the pic, then go back to the messege boards I can see the pic. I don't understand...Does anyone else have this problem w/thier icons?

When I try to access the picture, it says: Access forbidden from external hosts

No, I don't see that pic, Juntle...I see some pix, but not others. The pic is taken from my Yahoo Profile (since it wants the URL of pix, I can't just upload it from my computer). Do you guys know of somewhere where I can "post" the pic and then have the URL point to that? I had it point to my old, old, old home page w/another pic, but it wouldn't show (I'm assuming 'cuz it had text on the page along w/the pic).


bmilder, I get the same messege when I go to the pic's URL, then I refresh the page, and the pic shows. After that, sometimes it'll show here and sometimes it won't. I just DON'T get it!

Maybe it only works for people with Yahoo Messenger.

Unfortunately most of the sites who allowed image linking stopped... there's a handful left. I can't think of any right now though.

Yes, it is strange. I think it has to do with the fact that the pic is from my yahoo profile. I'm trying to find a web page where I can post my pic, but not have it be open to everyone w/a link or something. Maybe a friend w/a webpage can help me out. I 'll check it out.

Thanx for the welcome! No, I don't go to Princeton. I live in Southern California and I still haven't decided what University I want to transfer to...if ya'all have any suggestions, let me know!
