Hey FL, He isn't in that book!! Who is your favorite in The Hobbit?

I like Bilbo, but the talking troll purse just kills me!

i didnt really like Thorin as he seemed to me a bit stck up and ignorant. Dori was kind to Bilbo.
Gandalf was pretty cool so was Bard.

Smaug. After all, he wasn't bothering anybody (recently) until these thieves came along to steal back what he had stolen from them.

Count me in with ringbearer! (he's not weird in my opinion).

I've always had a fondness for Bard the Bowman (and Slayer of Smaug) who later becomes Lord of the reconstructed Dale.

I'm sorry if it is too obvious, I simply like Bilbo the best! In The Hobbit that is...he's different in The Lord of the Rings...

I think he just epitomizes hobbits.

Beorn all the way. Nobody gave him credit for the Battle of Five Armies. There were six, when Beorn showed up. Plus, he showed the company great hospitality, despite the anxiety he also caused.

Bilbo's my favourite character, though I agree Beorn doesn't get quite enough credit. He really helped the group tons, they would have been finished without his supplies, though Gandalf might have thought of something else.
