Movies can produce great magic, but will it be as magical and mystical as when Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn encounter Gandalf after his death and finally realize its him (that slap of cold rain) or when Theoden finally opens his eyes to his folly and calls for his sword .............. I truly hope the movie version of Two Towers will not fail in its attempt at magic

Oh no, Aldesign! I'm afraid you just might have to kill him, because I really doubt there will be Lembas. I know they filmed it, but I think they cut it because-I dunno why, I wish they wouldn't. I really want to see Lembas. But I think we will all have to be dissapointed.

Or it might have been really messed up. You never know. I'm not sure C. Tolkien's advice would have helped--it might have hindered. Then again it could have been very brilliant. We will never know.

I agree. It would've also damaged the credibility of the estate if it didn't come out as fans expected even though it had a Tolkien "imprimatur".
