That's if you're lucky enough to live in the US or another country where the ROTK premieres on December 17. Some people, *coughmecough*, must wait till December 26.
 I suppose I will have to "ancipate" for longer.

does anyone know when i can buy tickets for the midnight showing??
i promised i would drive like 10 of my friends, but im starting to wory that i wont even get tickets cause the stupid person at the movie theater either didnt know or wouldt tell me... only! umm... 28 days and 10 hours... (fine so i dont know how long till it comes out...)

My plan is to watch the x-tended versions of the first 2 movies on the same day, then go see ROTK that evening! 9 hours of LOTR!
RANT: BTW, I am a Tolkien "purist", if you will. But....I can appreciate everything that PJ has done to bring this epic to life. You can nit and pick yourselves to death. He did a great job! Sure, he changed and altered some things, but the feeling that you ARE in Middle Earth is there. Even subtle things like mentioning 'the Valar', 'Valinor', 'Balrog of Morgoth' shows that PJ has been paying attention and has read the books. Ah...the never-ending-debate continues..... |
