It's not the height - it's the beard
As for falling down a hole, that's more of a dream. THe fantasy part is what happens after he's rescued her. Probably something along the lines of a 'reward' of some description.

I'm sure FF's mind has already filled in the rest

Wait till' you people see Andy Serkis in the movies. You Frodo-Fangirls will soon be falling head over heals for Smeagol! Honestly, if I were female, I am 99% sure I would not be attracted to Elijah Woods. But who knows, maybe he has something about him that only girls can sense that attracts them to him. Like the words of so many:

"I will never understand women."

WOOD!Think of a tree. What is it made of?WOOD!! NOT WOODS.
LOL. I dont know where to start. I guess I'll start with the day dreams I have.
My number one favorite is that I am casted for a part in a stage play of LOTR and after the three plays in England,Scotland,Ireland,NYC,Washington DC,and LA we go to a dinner party after each and in LA we meet the OTHER four hobbits and have dinner with them.
Well you may be the same height as Elijah Wood BUT even though I cant say that I'm 5"6' I CAN say that I share the same birthday(not birth years but DAY). January 28th.*smilies sweetly*
And I have the same sentiments about his eyes as does FrodoFriend.

Yes, but I don't understand all this stuff about his eyes?

When you kiss someone do you not close your eyes?
When you want some action do you not turn out the lights?
When you are alone with someone do you not blindfold and gag them?
When you try it on are you not beaten up?

Hmmmm perhaps not everyone has the same sort of love life as me. You know what I'm on about though, right?
Right?

RIGHT??????

Erm . . . no, when I'm alone with some one I do NOT blindfold and gag them. Good God, you'd leave a trial of gagged and blindfolded people behind wherever you went! Do you know how often two people are alone somewhere every day?

Eyes are the window to the soul. They lie a lot, though. Lots of times guys with nice eyes are jerks. Believe me, I know from experience!!

Of course you would. That's why you blindfold them, so they don't know who's gagged them.

As for nice eyes. I have nice eyes. Blue actually.
In fact I'm gorgeous.

But I'm definately not a jerk.
More of a twat.

'Windows to the soul'? But they lie a lot. Hmmm says something about the soul I guess. Maybe they should clean the windows. Or quite possibly it means there is no connection between eyes and honesty.

I've never really understood people reading so much into eyes.
It's like, eyes are cool and stuff, and they are part of someone' face and therefore can add or detract from look, but all this stuff people 'can' read into it. Utter tripe. If it was that easy, girls would discover I'm a jerk almost immediately. Oh. I shouldn't have said that...

What I mean is, they look like they should be windows to the soul. Unfortunately, it's all a frickin' LIE!!! LIE LIE LIE!!! There is no connection!! They're not windows!! They lie!! They get girls to fall in love with them and then treat them like dirt!! Grrrrr!!

P.S. What's a twat?

*ahem*

Eyes are very important in the attraction game. When someone sees someone or something they like their pupils dialate. so, if a guy or girl sees someone who they find attractive their pupils show it. Its not something that can be helped or hidden (sept maybe with sunglasses) People with light colored eyes (like Elijah) when looking at something they like, are especially noticable because their pupils dont blend quite so well with the colored part of the eye and thus the change in pupil size is more prominent. Also because they dont blend in with the colored part of the eye as well as dark eyed people, the pupils of light eyes always seem larger than compared to dark eyes and thus more enticeing. Eyes are very attractive things.

I watch alot of Discovery channel...I know these things.

Well, FrodoFriend, I've got to agree with you about the lie bit. And to all the people who don't understand the thing about Elijah Wood's eyes . . . I don't understand it either and I'm nuts over his eyes . . . they're hypnotizing or something.

FrodoFriend, if you are a dwarf, damn, then I must be a really short hobbit.... Those eyes are sure hypnotizing all right... my friend just can't get her claws off his pics...she's thinking of sticking some on the school desk

Feraway - yup I knew all that
It's why when I like a girl I scare them off by going all bug-eyed and starey!

It's not that I don't find eyes attractive, far from it (although hair and bum are also fairly high on my list. Well, hair is top - long is best, straight better. Mmmmmm it's just that's all they are, a feature.

If you want to be suckered in because you think they mean something FF, then you will probably end up very disappointed a lot of the time

It's just another aspect that shows looks have very little to do with personality.

Just as well you DO like EW eyes though, PJ seems to have something of a fascination with them himself...

PS A twat is.... well, although it has a rude history (initially being another word for *covers all small childrens' ears* a lady's rude bit, now it just means a kind of really weak insult. More pathetic than stupid

Okay, okay, I think we've wandered off into weird territory here...

A moral of the whole (after the primary symbolism of the Ring, as the will to mere power, seeking to make itself objective by physical force and mechanism, and so also inevitably by lies) is the obvious one that without the high and noble the simple and vulgar is utterly mean; and without the simple and ordinary the noble and heroic is meaningless." I think maybe EW was consciously staring wide-eyed at everyone the whole time they were shooting. Probably its the tight hobbit pair of pantaloons he was wearing.

Did my last post sound like I'm about to be suckered? Puh-leaze!

His eyes are just pretty, that's all. They're nice to look at, like a sunset or a rainforest or raspberry soap. And if the sunset, rainforest, raspberry soap, or eyes are there, why not look at them?

And why do people thinks butts are so attractive? Really. Most unsavory. Shoulders are much better, mmmhmmm . . .

LOL! I started busting out laughing in the computer lab when I read this.

I also laughed when someone asked what a twat was. I was wondering how they were going to explain it without being completely icky. You did a very good job, Gerbil.

And I agree that Wood has very interesting eyes. My sister and I were watching the Golden Globes and when he came on the screen, her jaw dropped and she goes, "His eyes are actually that color??" Hehe...She thought they were contacts and I can understand why.

it just MIGHT be the pantaloons.

...seeing that Frodo always seems to look at the other guys in a trance and say to Sam: "Oh, Sam"
