Cable modem!
Finally my lazy cable company got their act together and now we have cable modems!

The ingenious CT comes up with yet another word! Before long, "vad" will be the new thing; kids across America will be using it.... as in "Man, that's so vad, dude", and "So, didja see that vad movie that just came out?", or "Those are vad shoes, yo", and other such nonsense. I can hear it now.
So, were they chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies?  |

Nooo! You got it before I am gonna get it. I would have it by now, but my dads on a bussiness trip. So I'm not gonna get it till early next week cuz he comes back tonight, but wont have time over the weekend.

Finally the bugs have been worked out, but Tristan's goes about twice as fast for no reason!!
On Napster, I never reach 8 k/s and yet his downloads go at 16 or so, and sometimes up to 30! Anyone know why this is, and how can I fix it??? |

I have a cable modem, so I've set my ezboard prefs to 1000 posts per page. With name games and the like I can find repeats simply by using find-and-replace. With big discussions it's easier to follow. Also, I have yet to see a thread with over 1000 posts so I never have to flip to a second page.
The disadvantage is that the "blank page" bug occurs often for threads with over 400 posts... of which I have seen many... |
