Unused imagery?

Does nayone who has the extended editions of all 3 movies, kow if anywhere on them, there are pics of some unused imagery/characters on them? I have acome accross a pic of Annatar on a website and was wondering where they got it.

There's one or two abandoned ideas in the TTT and ROTK EE. In TTT, they have the Balrog as a Slime Balrog after his fire is put out by the big lake, and also the Endless Stair of Moria. In ROTK EE, they have Aragorn vs. Sauron. That's all I can find.

if I remember rightly most of them are in the "Designing middle earth" bit on the first appendicies DVD

There was some unused footage (filmed and all) of Faramir seeing FRODO IN GOLLUM FORM! He looks so friggin freaky I can't stand it. he has like one sing orange strand of hair and liquid paper white face! That's why Faramir doen't take the ring: He realizes HE'LL be like this and that Frodo needs to destroy it so this evil can't spread. You can see all this on the special features lists (can't remember which one, though) of TTT EE. (It's pretty funny to hear Elijah Wood try to do the coughy GOLLOM thingy)

No, it's not a drawing/ painting, it's the digital film. Pretty sweet, huh?
