No, that's exactly what he wants. That way, when he squeals about 'Closing! Closing!' he could actually make it come true.

That fuction can be toggled by the admins for each class of users. They can also set a time period for all posts in which they can be edited without the edit notation appearing (eg for set that for 5 minutes after the post you can edit it with no notation appearing)

Oh - I figured something like that... my post was commentary on class priviledge, per se, not a matter of technical function.
