Nazgul

just thought of some more,
brian blessed as tom bombadil
and if i had patrick stewart as celeborn, then we could go with marina sirtis as galadriel
yul brynner could be the chieftain of the haradrim, he wouldn't get to say anything, but he sure would look cool
peter o'toole could be elrond, if patrick stewart is celeborn
and then gandalf would be charles harris
whoever plays zak dingle on emmerdale could be barliman butterbur
younger sir ian mckellen as aragorn, if al pacino doesn't want to do it

I think Audrey Hepburn would be good as Arwen, or maybe Jaclyn Smith.

I agree with you about Charlton Heston IP - instead of Elves at Helm's Deep we'd get the NRA!

This isn't much of a time warp, but I think Carrie-Anne Moss or Nève Campbell would be great as Arwen.

Actually, if the NRA was able to properly equip the defenders at Helm's Deep, Rohan would not have needed as much heroics to survive Sauruman's assault.

I would like to see Walter Brennen as the Gaffer. He would have done a great job.

I was watching The Sound of Music the other day, and it occurred to me that Christopher Plummer would have been great as Aragorn. Or maybe even as Denethor (obviously, he'd have to be a little older than Sound of Music to play that one).

How can I take this losing hand and somehow win?

Just give me One Good Year To get my feet back on the ground.
I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found
One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down.
I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!
