For me, Aragorn vs. Uruk Hai in Fellowship of the Ring was the best. When he rounds the corner to see them all approaching en masse, then proceeds to lay into them like the skilled fighter he is. So good!

Other favourite fight scenes of mine include:

-The fencing match between Inigo and Westley in 'The Princess Bride'
-The weapons room fight between Jen and Yu Shu Lien in 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon'.

I've forgotten every fight scene but that one. Fortunately.

My favorite is Boromir's fight scene when he's defending Merry and Pippin. I like the slow motion effects and the sunlight spilling through the leaves of the trees. He represents the true human instinct of survival and perserverance in this battle. He knows his death is iminent but fights on to protect the fellowship.

I hate to admit it (because of all the wrong stuff in it), but my favourite fight scene is the battle at Helms Deep.

The scene where Aragorn falls of a cliff really sucks, 'cause it isn't suposed to happen!

Probably the scene at Helm's Deep, where Legolas slides down the stairs on the Uruk-hai shield,WHILE shooting arrows. That has to be the coolest scene, its also the scene where they blow up the wall and all those beserkers come in and one kills Haldir... that part really stinks

my favourite fight scenes are: the fight scene on amon hen (especially in the EE), helm's deep, and balin's tomb was cool too

worst: anything in Rotk, the battles always looked like they were going to be really cool like when the orcs march on Minas Tirith and when the orcs paddle to west osgiliath, but the fighting was so bad, the camera was so shaky so you couldnt see what was going on and the swords dont cut into people they are just like sticks or something.

i like it when aragorn caharges the black gate and duels a cave troll that has a sword. thats like the best i dea ever!!!!! i love it. also enjoy the storming of the hornburg, when aragorn leads a force of elves in a small battle, sooooo good cause the elves just hose down the uruks. the osgiliath fight when they were about to retreat was good because faramir fan up and his friends were like, move!!! then they wasted like 12 orcs with arrows. ahhhhh....sweet violence!!!

Don't worry about the spelling, we all understand you besides, there are many non-english people here (including me) with very bad spelling.

Favourite fights, hmmm....In the EE for TTT, the battle at Helm's Deep is definitely one of my favourite fights--except, Haldir wasn't even supposed to be there never mind die in slo motion, and Legolas could have skipped the silly snowboarding-down-the-stairs bit. I loved how everybody really gets into the fight, orcs and goodguys alike, with the muddy rain, and the chaos, and the suicide bomber orc running into the breach in the wall; then finally, when theoden's like "what can men do in the face of such reckless hate", or something, and aragorn says "ride out and meet them"--VERY inspiring! in LOTR, as well, the charge of the rohirrim makes me ache to want to be a part of that charge and scream "death" alongside Eomer and Eowyn et al. But PJ could have eased up on the numbers of fake horses getting squashed-after the third image of a horse tumbling down or getting flung into the air by impossibly huge tusks, I get annoyed--For great war horse scenes, check out movies by Akira Kurosawa--his war horses were phenomenal. the movie "Ran", for instance. Phenomenal.
