Hmmm...it was Dame Eileen Atkins. Wrong dame...
and wrong story from me. I had thought that when she said "it was pure bliss" she had given in to him, but this source has it different. Why would you end a Time article about this with "It was pure bliss", which implies something quite contrary to the truth?

Oh, gods...I'm don't remember EVER seeing a movie with a cheesier title. Or premise. Or tag line. "Sit Back. Relax. Enjoy the Fright." I hear that the producers are playing this out intentionally to be absurd. Apparently, when the director wanted to change it, they told him, "Hell no, we only bought it because of the title!"

Oh, no, my experiences are preying again? I hope it's not on the weak and helpless, like last time.

And now Emma (Paltrow/Northam) and An Ideal Husband.

I thoroughly enjoyed both

An Ideal Husband.. cute, huh? Rupert Everett is just to die for; his delivery is fantastic. Have you ever seen The Importance of Being Earnest? He and Colin Firth are perfect!

two of my elder sisters watched Pride and Pejudice (the new one) in a college theatre showing...they said it was, actually hilarious. They said if it hadn't been so entertaining, it would be simply bad; that at least it was funny...and it all comes down to, of course, that actress of recent sucess: Keira Knightly....

half-pursing those lips, half opening them...."Oh Jack....I mean, Darcy ole' boy..."

Meanwhile: I'll have to see for myself...not because I don't believe my sis', but because I DO.

I watched "The Engagement Ring". Anyone who loved "Moonstruck" will like this movie, starring Patricia Heaton (Debra of E.L.R. fame). It was a gentle and loving movie.

Rupert's in An Ideal Husband? What's with him an' Wilde? I guess Everett's got good taste.

I have seen the Importance of Being Earnest; it's probably the only play for which I can boast having read it, seen a live production, and seen a film production.

Indeed, the man's wit was amazing, his skill with words astounding. His plays are great, and Dorian Gray spectacular.

I've actually never read Dorian Gray, but I want to one of these days.
