wow, there for a while this one was off the board! starting to get a little scared!

"I'll meet you there!" said Eragon, standing and leaving the pub. He ran down to the docks where his rowboat was tied. Soon he was back on Nia, and ran past his house the the secluded beach where saphira spent her time. <You would never believe what I found!> said Eragon, thought he could not see his dragon. <You would never beleieve what I found> replied Saphira. <I met people who can take us to where the serpents dwell, and where the tears are!> said Eragon. <Well, I met a baby serpent> replied Saphira, landing in front of her friend. <are you okay?> asked Eragon. <Fine, it wasn't very deep, just a scratch> said Saphira. <We have to meet the people at the dock in an hour> said Eragon. <are they trustworthy?> asked Saphira causiously. <Two of them I know i can trust, but there is a shifter mage, that seems a bit, well, shifty> said Eragon. <but I think we can trust them all>

Mialil stood up and began walking back to her boat, giving of an aloof air as she walked past drunk sailors on the prowl.

Eragon rowed his boat back to the main island, this time carrying his pack and bow. He walked to the place where he was supposed to meet Mialil.

Raunien walked out of the pub and headed toward the crystal clear water. She dove in, her clothes melting away to become blubber, her feet changing into fins, and her face enlongating to become as a dolphins. Except that this dolphin had green eyes, and was more silver red in color. Raunien dove down deep in the ocean, like a silvery-red arrow. She looked around and saw[echolocation] a large shape above her. She changed her forn to that of a mermaid, and popped up just behind the large shape. It was Sapphire in color and very large. She swam around to the front tf the shape and looked at it.<A dragon!>

Saphira tossed her head in the water. Suddenly a mermaid appeared in front of her. <hello, little one!> she said. <I haven't had the opportunity to meet a mermaid before!> she said, sniffing the mermaid's elegant form.

<Um... Hi. I'm Raunien. I'm not really a mermaid. I'm a shapeshifter. I'm heading off somewhere with a man named..... oh what was his name again? Erathorn Erathon.. oh wait.. it Eragon.> and with that she switched into the perfect likeness of Eragon, except that her eyes were still green.

She flew off the rock, and caught hte nearest air current to the boat. She settled on the deck, then shifted back, surprising the many gulls around her. "Well Eragon, I'm here. <I also met your dragon.> She added to herself.

He broke off thier contact and helped the others.

"The place where we are going is called, um excuse me, was called mermaid rock." She pointed to a spot on the map "Now its just a rock. Underneath this rock, is an old Roman temple. It is submerged only about 30 or 40 feet below the water, but the water is congested with those blasted sea snakes. You'll have to figure out how to get down there unscathed. I'll just shift, but I can't change the rest of you, except for different apperances. So I'll help you there, but otherwise.." She broke off her scentence there.
