Allorien paused for a moment and looked at her companions. It was morning, and they were about to set off in the direction of Sam and Frodo. "Fir, I think we should start very soon...deep in my heart I have a strange feeling that we may have delayed too long."

Legolas took the lead with his trusy bow and Firglinwen and Allorien followed. They had been chosen, by some twist of fate to accompany Legolas to help with the destruction of the ring of power. After walking for several hours they caught sight of a creature darting through the trees. Allorien was first to spot it. "Aie! What is that? I think someone has followed us!" She squinted through the trees. "I think it's an elf!! Hey!! You!" she hailed the creature.
((OCC: Wood Elf this is your cue!!))
The elf-like creature approached cautiously.
"Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo" said the female elf called Allorien politely. "Whither hast thou come??"

The Nazgûl reached Mordor. Flying to Barad-dûr, they delivered the One Ring to Sauron.
Sauron's armies responded to the call. They felt a heightened sense of ability and purpose.

One detatchment of heavily-armed uruks left Dol Guldur.

OOC: Guess where they're headed, elves!
OOC: The Tale of the Ring Poem! (compare with "seek for the sword..."
To the Golden Wood of Lothlorien
comes the last remaining hope;
One to whom the Elves will listen
for with the Enemy he will cope.

But the Ring has now been taken
by the Enemy at last
The Fellowship must reclaim it
before all hope is lost.

ooc: that poem took me at least half an hour.

ic: The wood elf never got a chance to respond, however, as the sound of Orcs crashing through the brush distracted all of them.

ooc: By my clock it is 1:14 on 9-9-2002. After about 24 hours I'm going to attack if you haven't posted. I'm trying to speed the thread up.

IC:

The orcs advanced determinedly upon the elves. Firglinwen (sp? sorry) was the first to fall, then Legolas. The wood elf had disppeared near the start of the battle.Allorien stopped her furious defence for a moment to check. Neither was dead, but --

something heavy hit Allorien in the head and she knew no more.

The orcs bound their captives and made for Dol Guldur.

Aragorn: After being seperated from the fellowship for a long while I traveld through the woods in search of the captives merry and pippin. I decided to leave Gimli and ventuer on my own to get a better look at what was ahead while Gimli rested. To my great surprise a came opone a large group of orcs who seemed to have been coming back from a fierce battle. They had some captive elves that to my even greater surprise were the elves I had spotted during the council of Elrond. I had to think quikly on how to figure a way to save the captives before the orcs started their journey once more.

ooc: hows that. If its bad then tell me what way you want me to enter.

ooc: That's great. I captured the Elves b/c they weren't posting. The only thing is, I planned for you and Nargond to go mess with Saruman. But WiseWizard said he's out of it for a while, so this should work well. If you need reinforcements just holler OOC.

Sam: Don't worry Mr. Frodo, we can get it back.
Frodo:But how will we do that? There is no way to hobbits can tatke the ring from the Dark Lord of Mordor.
Sam: Isildur did.
Frodo: But he had an army of Elves and Men. We have nothing. I fear we must now go back and tell Elrond of our failure.

ic: As Firglinwen gained consciencness(SP?) she desperatley looked for her friends, she relised that she was tied up with rope awhile later she spotted Allorien and Legolas still unconcsince(SP)

"Fir, Allorien is badly hurt, she needs help!"

"Hey, you! Shut your filthy mouths. You'll have enough to talk about soon enough."

To her horror, Fir spotted the orcs whetting knives, sharpening hooks and spikes, and generally preparing instruments of torture. The orc noticed her gaze.

"Ha! We'll have some fun with you, that's right!"
