I would suggest burning down the Shire but we might want to get some EXP in the wilderness first just in case we meet some serious resistance.

Exactly what could they give us? Their weapons and armor are nonexistent and wouldn't fit us anyway, they have no magic items, they have little gold. Wandering around in the wilderness would be more conducive to getting loot. Besides, we want to burn down the Shire not just bully the hobbits. If we leave survivors people will start going after us
and we are low level...What time period are we going to be doing this in?
