I think i half get it and half don't. *shrugs* Oh well, it'll prolly hit me later. BTW, from the comments of those who have gotten it, it doesn't seem like it's very offensive. I wish someone would just come out and say it plainly.

OH MY GOODNESS! I just looked at his site!!! How did I miss such a sweet thing. Must add him to my signature. Anyone know the actor that plays him???
I must know! NOW! He's better than Legolas. But still. Was he mentioned in the books then? I certainly havent come accross him on my book reading travels.

am proud to say that the usually shallow eowyn144(according to CBG's definition of the word) has sighted the afore mentioned figwit and has not erupted in a screaming -"o he's so georgous i must find out everything there is to know about him" fit.
he's not so great. he has even less lines than legolas (is this possible?) he is in the film for about two seconds. for those still not in the know, its nothing to get worked up about. i do like the name figwit though. very clever.

ok ok ok ok! Geez, learn to take a joke sometime! Have you read the article? He's way up himself! Though i still do think he's not ugly. Just not not as ugly as Meriadoc or ringwraith #5 for example.

People like jumping on the anti-me bandwagon, I never defined teenage girls, I only mentioned that there are Shallow Teenage girls at this board.

*Raises eyebrow*
I seem to be missing the point and the rest of the thread-as usual- so what's this all about?

Figwit shmigwit. But I suppose some young lasses will find him quite the dish for only 3 seconds worth of screen time. I wonder if the director's cut will bump his presence up to a whole minute.

Where is the site and article ya'll are talking about?
Okay here's what I get: Figwit is gay, hence the "Frodo Is Great". He's also in the movie (I'm assuming you mean TTT) very, very briefly. Here's what I don't get: What was the "Who Is That" for? Somebody help me out here. I'm just trying to understand what your'e talking about. (I'm thickheaded, I know... )

Ok, Ok
Figwit.... an elusive character who appears in the movie for all of one and a half seconds... He can be spotted at the council of Elrond... He is an elf with brown hair, though he is not sitting next to Elrond, making him of no kin to Elrond... Supposedly, he is "quite the dish" and has become an undergound phenomenon to young, superficial LOtR girly fans... someone has referenced the site earlirer on it this thread, so if you must, go take a look... Nothing to get worked up over really... Just fun |

Figwit. How very interesting. An elf, you say? But are you sure he really is an elf? He might have been an orc in disguise, acting as a spy at the counsel!
I think he has more than 3 seconds of screen time if he's the one I'm thinking of. Never knew shallow fangirls made such a big deal about him. No, I'm not trying to insult anyone here. Figwit is evil, I'm sure of it

Well, he kinda looks evil, and that stare is just downright silly looking. He needs to be slapped silly with several different sizes of cold wet fish.
