Saw a bit of 'The Green Mile' on TV, and it shocked me of the indecency and the crulty Texans put their prisoners though on Death Row.

Saw V for Vendetta again.. I really like the language they use, and how they use it. And even the violent scenes were quite beautifully done. It's also quite hilarious at times, for the references it makes to our world..

The Lifeboat, by Alfred Hitchcock. Wow...it was based on a story by John Steinbeck, and I can really tell! Very interesting examination of human nature...especially with that lingering last question.

Inside Man. Not bad. I think that the ending was badly handled and that the story-behind-the-story thing with Plummer was poor. I was expecting a sort of smart, Robert-Redford-Paul-Newman-in-The Sting kind of ending, but it just dragged toward the conclusion. But the makers assembled an amazing cast, and most of it was well done. Bravo.

Coli Farrell is in it, that's reason enough not to see it..for me anyways.

Oddly enough, I also just watched Lifeboat by Alfred Hitchcock. I thought it was really good.
I also just watched Eight Below, kind of disappointing IMO. I thought it was sort of boring, but the animal actors were great.

Ditto. That man creeps me out.
Actually, I did rather like him when he killed that old lady in Daredevil--with a peanut!

He does! Did you know he spent two hours at Judi Dench's door convincing her to sleep with him? And suceeded...evidence that he is Beelzebub.

I always go for 'sarcastic' if I'm ever in doubt over dear Hector's tone.

I'm not kidding. I read it in either a Time/Newsweek magazine, or else it was a newspaper.

However, perhaps I was mistaken about the gal being Judi Dench. It might have been Hellen Mirren...
