The search for the Tears of the Sea

"I'm afraid that is not nessecary Mialil. I'ts me Rhiannon." I said shifting back into my normal form. "And boys, I'm afraid that pearl I gave you is fake! Ha. There is no Rhian, you have been fooled, now Mialil, Hailand, shall we kick their arses?"

ooc:I know but how did your character know what the things were doing etc and why.
also its a bit rude to change whats going on even if the person had not stated what was going on.

Whoa! Take it easy, Leggy! Shape shifting doesn't extend to clothes, and you can't swim that fast... and how does a pearl figure into the story? And how does your character even know what's happening? littleCat knew because she saw, zone because he was watching through the door, and Raistlin because of a telepathic link or something. And wouldn't the sea elves know how many people are in their group? About the only logical way I can see out of this is by the following, assuming that Miallil hasn't arrived at the cave yet. Oh yeah, and I'm floating, so a bed and rope wouldn't work because water isn't good with rope and stuff.

Ic: Haliand shook her head, pointing behind the shapeshifter.
"Another one! Thought so," a voice said smugly. The sea elves blocked the entrance to the cave, and one came forward. "None of us are idiots. I don't know how you look like one of us, but it doesn't matter. We only want the Tears anyway. And, of course, you two. But only for now." He drew a dagger. "Since you'll be staying with us for a while, I'd suggest you make yourselves comfortable."
He turned to the others. "Keep an eye out for the Princess; I think I heard her as we came down."

Oh, and here's what's going on. A group of people is looking for the legendary Tears of the Sea. I'm not sure exactly what they do, but they help defeat sea serpents. Ummm... we're underwater in a temple right now, and my character has been captured by renegade sea elves who want the Tears.
The characters are:
Miallil, the sea elf princess
Haliand, the Moana bard
Orthean, the sea-serpent mage
Rhiannon, the shape-shifter lady
Reshin, the shipwrecked pirate (I think he's a pirate, anyway...)

"Please trust me. I dare not bring evil upon your holy grounds. By the way what is this pearl that I hold in my hands. It seems that it is of great importance." Reshin quickly answered the ghastly warrior. The figure walked slowly toward Reshin and aimed her spear at his neck.

"What brings a filthy Mor-Jin in this holy place. How do I know you don't have some evil plot in tricking me into letting you go. You know more than I do that Mor-Jin are not allowed in such a sacred place. I see it in your eyes... the evil of your people."The figure replied coldly. Reshin knew that she was one obsticle that he might never pass, but he could not give up then. He must persuade her to let him go. He decided that the pearl was not important as to saving Haliand.

"I know that my backround is not clean or holy,but PLEASE let me go... I am in a rather hurry you see..... There is a girl that I must save, and at this moment that girl could be out of my grasp of saving her. They could be torturing her doing things that aren't... quite humane. So please let me go... It could be her only chance..." Reshin said with sorrow in his voice.


"... Then Mor-Jin... Your judgement is up to the gods... if your story is true they will set you free But if it isn't ... you will die."

Mialil sped up in the water, her eyes glowing with a fierce determination. She drew her weapon as she entered the cave,"Yui nae weain tylapequ NaTHAINI! " <let her go now>

Hmmm... Ok, I've kinda painted myself into a corner... ummm.... what would renegade evil sea elf people criminals want? Oh! I know!

Ic: The sea elves were startled, but the leader gathered his wits quickly. "We have two of your friends. I have a dagger, and you are across the cave. What are the odds of them surviving if you are not careful?"
He turned the knife in his hands, idly watching the phosphorent light in the cave play across the blade. "You know, my dear, that the Princess of the Sea Elves is an invaluable bargaining chip. So you'll have to stay here as well. I understand that there are two others in your group, and that one of them is actually a Sea Serpent." Ignoring Haliands low growl, he continued,"You don't need me to explain how fortunate that you two have fallen into our hands. And this Moana could be a good hostage as well." He gestured in the direction of the glowering Moana, and smiled.
"What a profitable day. Now we just have to wait."

Mialil hissed in anger,"You'll not get away with this." she said."Never." she swam towards Haliand,"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, but the Tears and my weapons are gone. My violin too, and I can't leave without it. I just hope the Orthean and Reshin stay away." Haliand wondered where they were, if they were all right...

Reshin found himself outside the window. He didn't quite remember what had happen, but then his mind went to Haliand. He reached for his knife but it appeared to be missing, but he noticed that there was something connected to his right hand, it was an odd creamish green, round, orb. That didn't bother him at the moment since his mind was completely on Haliand. He started to to swim but couldn't. The orb was glowing and him sink to the ground, allowing him to run.

This is odd... It might make it easier... maybe
