I am two weeks away from being married, and two attendants' flowers and a flower girl basket closer.

I guess Walmart can no longer boast 2,100,000 employees, but a mere 2,099,999 Not far away from the edge of doom now Muhahaha...

Oh, quit working there, you mean?

I was walking down my street to the 7-eleven and I passed a house that had a sign on it that said something like "If I'm not at home, check Wal-Mart". I figured that if I'm not at home you could check Wal-Mart, and you'd have about a 1/1000 chance that I'd be there. I'm kind of really liking Meijers lately, but I just found out that it's mostly only in the midwest so a lot of you might not know it.

I dunno... I did absolutely hate the Walmart management, but I really liked (most) of my co-workers . The really young ones (seventeen to twenty-somethings) were retarded and extremely annoying, but I got along very well with the older folks who were working there. I also enjoyed meeting most of the people who came into my lane... they'd start out gruff but a lot of the time they ended up being very nice to me once they saw I wasn't an ass . Had some great conversations with soccer moms and whatnot...

Actually come to think of it, my managers who were older were also very nice and helpful. My problems (with the scheduling) came from the younger managers. Hmm.

Most os the workers are great. Its the managers that are PITAa. We recently got a new store manager and she's making the managers under her actually work. They're POed cause they have to work and taking it out on their workers.

My main reason for quiting was my manager was hellbent on making my life a living hell since I wouldn't kiss his ass or let him walk all over me. And plus he kept cutting my hours and with both rent and a car payment was not gonna happen lol

Wasn't there some minimum number of hours he had to give you work then? I think contracts here have an hour minimum.

Does anyone else enjoy watching Facebook drama develop? Is that just me? Is that wrong of me?

It just cracks me up because it's almost always the self-professed 'laid back' people who are 'drama free' and love all of their friends 'soooooo much.' Then at least once a month they have these huge, dramatic, pointless fights with someone else, or multiple people, on facebook. Then they don't speak to each other in person for a while, then they either just forget about it, or become super ultra best friends for a little while before having another argument.

I love it. It entertains me, and it's absolutely free of charge to watch.

mmm... I would say it feels like the other way around. Now that I've made it through 6 and a half months, I have no idea how I'll make it through the next two weeks!

Tessar, I deactivated my FB account again, but who needs it when I can hear the white trash neighbors yelling at each other right now in person?

Lol yeah I probably should have announced it or something. I'm afraid everyone will think I defriended them. I hardly ever updated anyway though. We're almost ready for a new Teacup aren't we?

My FB friends don't do that. If they get into fights, it's in much more insidious and unhealthy ways.

Clearly you don't have enough music friends . The blowups are frequent, loud, and VERY public. It's also funny because they're the same people who are always saying, "OMG RESPEKT MY PRIVASEE!" when they're always having it out with someone on FB. On the one hand I just want to roll my eyes, on the other hand I have a bag of popcorn and a finger on the 'refresh' button of my browser. It's even better now that everyone and their grandma has remote access to FB through their phone and whatnot.
