Anyone ever read any Haruki Murakami? I just started Norwegian Wood yesterday. I only read a couple pages but it sounds really good so far.

Working me way through a great whopper, name of War and Peace, for the first seminar of next school year. The first four chapters are entirely composed of a soiree, yet Tolstoy manages to keep it interesting; just seeing the way these people relate to each other, and their subtle politicking is fun.

Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen -- Really good book. I just finished reading it, actually. My friend let me borrow it, and I just couldn't stop reading it! (Even thought there were some "adult themes" in it, but it wasn't graphic or anything.)

Yeah I finally got through that a few summers ago when my computer (and Entmoot?) was down. Undoubtedly great, but not something I'd dive back into.
I'm more of a Dosty fan.

Another great Russky- Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita", about the Devil showing up in Stalin's Moscow in the 1930s.
