By the way, I don't think any blood was shown when Frodo was stabbed. It was this weird sort of puckered blue wound without blood.

I don't remember when Gandalf volunteered in the movie, but Aragorn was the first of the next three: "You have my sword," he said. Gandalf may have gone before him, though, as Sasquatch says.

Yes, it was definitely Gandalf. Frodo says something like "I will take it, I will take the ring to Mordor", and the Gandalf says something along the lines of "I will lead you there, Frodo Baggins, as long as it is yours to bare"
