We could, you know, use two categories in the next game: a basic one with Hobbit, LoTR and the Silmarillion, and an difficult one with UT, Children of Húrin and HoME. Whoever posts the quote could just put 'basic' or 'difficult' above the quote. You get an inkling then which group of books the quote is from, but it would be fairer for people who haven't read the second group of books to know which quote they can tackle.

The new quote is coming up tomorrow. Too late too think straight now.

EDIT: Maybe I should just start the quote in a new thread, since we've nearly reached the 1000 replies anyway...

Or... maybe better to have two separate threads - a special one for HoME, and then everything else. I'm just afraid those who consider themselves 'basic' players (some of who I think have only read Hobbit & LOTR) would feel sidelined when a 'difficult' quote came up.
