If the insults would be bad enough, I might be psychologically scarred for a temporary amount of time, but hey, I have a million dollars after it. A few thousand of it (however much that stuff costs) could go toward seeking psychological help for a few months. Most likely I wouldn't need it anyway, so I wouldn't need to spend it on that. I've been punched in the face by a big fat guy before, so it's nothing too bad especially if I'm getting a million dollars for it.

After that it'd be to select nothing. Then magic, then bomb. But I wouldn't ever pick either of those two.

So...

1. Insults for one hour.
2. Punch.
3. Nothing.
4. Magic.
5. OMGWTFBBQ Bomb.

Insults for 1 hour? Easy million! Especially easy if they know little or nothing about me! I mean if they used personal stuff it might sting - but they wouldn't know stuff that only I or select few know.

Just random insults? Absolutely no problem

The punch would really hurt and leave me injured for several weeks at least - but sure yeah, I'd probably do that too.
----
Magic? Uh... no way based on your description.
----
Bomb? umm if it truly would forever be undetectable and would basically cause massive destruction in the world - then NO. But up the money and it was SOMEHOW detectable - then DEFINITELY , YES. 5,000 is a long time. Plenty of time to find it, or at least really development space travel and colonizaton.

Or at least thoroughly prepare for it. Underwater colonies, energy shields.

Mega-technological increases in next 5,000 years if humans still around.

In the last 200 years alone we got electricity, lightbulb, COMPUTERS, INTERNET, phones, cell phones, automobiles, planes, trains, motion pictures, TV, air conditioning, x-rays, indoor plumbing, spaceships, and much much more, - and uh basically all of our modern technology. And most of these within the past 100-150 years!

So imagine 5000 years!

They'd be able to disarm the bomb by then, given the logic that if you can get the bomb down there in the first place, it would be easy to disarm such a bomb in 5,000 years. 5 years however would be a challenge LoL.

Don't worry Lief. I'm sure there will be a volunteer.

Correct. Pretty people, fiction, and the good guys winning. That's my concept of entertainment.

I encounter enough evil in real life, without anyone making more.
