So now I'm a Hobbit called Naugrim? How'd that happen? But I guess Hobbits are even more stunted than dwarves are...

hmm...

How bout a Hobbit vs. an Ewok. I'm putting my bets on the Ewok. I'm not trying to say anything bad about Hobbits. ... just that on the Trilogy game, an Ewok can take down a storm trooper pretty fast. (Man ... This is a weird subject.)

Well, I think the Emperor should go steal the ring and take over Middle Earth, and Legolas should turn to the Darkside because it's WAY cooler!

I'd say Yoda

Maybe a younger Yoda could...but I think Elrond.

Gandalf vs Obi-Wan

Here's how it would go:

Part 1: Elude Hope

OW: We meet again, old man... but now I am the master.
[his lightsaber flashes to life]
G: Only a master of adolescent deliquents, Obi.
[his staff glows with an inner flame]
OW: You are more hair than man, now, Gandalf... twisted and senile...
[waves his weapon a bit]
G: Go take a long jump off a tall cliff, you padawannabe.
OW: How dare you insult me, ancient peddler! Prepare to die!
[steps toward Gandalf menacingly]
G: [calmly] Should you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you could ever imagine...
OW: Are you talking in riddles? I HATE riddles.
G: I think we got started off on the wrong foot... sorry about the padawan pun, but why do you hate me so?
OW: You killed my father!
G: No, Obi... I am your father.
OW: NO!! It can't be true!
[he turns off his lightsaber, collapses on his knees, and sobs into his hands]

Part two: The Istar(i?) Strikes Back

[Obi-wan gazes at the wizened wizard with a wrathful countenance; he notices that Gandalf now holds his lightsaber]
G: You want [longingly] this... take it from me... strike me down! Give in to your hate. I am defenseless...
OW: You want me to kill you?
G: Well, yes... it's crucial for the sequel, you know...
OW: Well, that settles it.
[Obi-wan leaves, dancing and singing to "ABC, 123" by the Jackson Five]
G: Crimony! Now we'll never draw the crowds...
[Scooby Doo and his crew enter]
Thelma: Jinkies! It's Gandalf!
Fred: It was him all along!
G: And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddlin' kids!
[Gandalf vanishes with a bright flash from his staff]
END

Okay, maybe that was a bit of a cliche ending... forgive me, and also read my comment on "Middle-Earth vs Galactic Empire".

just a thought: maybe the emperor is what gollum could have ended up if he had his way? after all... gollum is a simple mortal... yet if you think about it, no mortal with the ring was able to beat sauron, so therefore the emperor could not beat sauron? make sense?
