The Dark Knight(Batman Begins sequel)

The Dark Knight will be released in 2008 Christian Bale will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Michael Caine and Gary Oldman will return i'm not sure about Morgan Freeman and Katie Holmes. Heath Ledger has been cast as the Joker which in my opinion is a strange choice. I can't wait for this i'm looking forward to it more than Spider-man 3

This sounds really interesting. My biggest gripe is having to wait until 2008. I could be gone then!

Heath Ledger as the Joker sounds very interesting indeed. I've never seen him play and bad guy, but I think that he and Christian Bale could really act well off of each other.

How very cool.

Definately cooler than Spidey 3

We'll just have to wait and see if Jake Gylenhaal is cast as harvey Dent/TwoFace, and when he is, will his other half look like Heath Ledger?

Was anyone else thrown off by the movie out now called "Prestige"? When I first saw the commercials I thought it was the next Batman movie because it stars both Christian Bale and the dude who plays Alfred.

It brings me to a page where it says "Forbidden"...what're you trying to pull on us, a Brokeback Mountain pic?

Well I haven't seen any pic of him as the Joker yet, but I was really hoping Mark Hamill would don the suit as well as voice. He did such a great job in The Animated Series.

That picture is obviously photoshopped. Plus that's not a convincing joker because he's doing a stupid Heath Ledger pose and stupid grin. It would be a little more convincing if he were acting like Joker too and not just looking like him in that picture.

You're right, it is photoshopped...I thought it was a bit too Entertainment Weekly-ish

Aaron Eckhart has been cast as Harvey Dent( The future Two Face) and they are recasting Rachel Dawes i think Maggie Gyllenhall will play her. i like the choice of Aaron Eckhart alot!
