Oh, Farimir, I LOVE that!! I really liked that little poem a lot! It should go somewhere on the wall at the Teacup Cafe. So cool!

It wasn't that good and i wouldn't want to diminish the beauty of the cafe by putting a poem like that up. Thank you for the nice comments though.

Don't do that; don't downplay a sincere compliment. Yes, it was good, and it was perfect for the Teacup Cafe's walls. Ask anyone around here and they'll tell ya, I don't go around handing out empty compliments. When I say I liked it and it was a good little poem, I mean what I say. So take the compliment, already!

I'm sorry I didn't mean to downplay your compliment. It's just next to the great poets we have here at the moot mine is just.... Okay, okay I'll take the compliment, thank you again, and exit with a huge smile on my face.

Faramir, I agree with Lotesse, its a very sweet poem... I think all mooters can feel that poem! I never write poetry, but it feels almost compulsory to write something, now that I'm here:

Faramir, your poem was so good
it really did improve my mood
I was going all Waa-waah-waah!
Now I'm onto tra-la-la
...

What I want to know is where is this thread which speaks of elves with a beard. Farimir, can you point me in the right direction? That sounds like so much fun to read about; elves with beards, yeah!

I'll look for it Tessa and then come back and post. I think it was some where
in the LotR Books thread.

Edit- here ya go Tessa, two I found. The first is where i actually got the beard reference and the second is one I found with my search and talks about elves and hobbits having kids, elves and dwarves, and what not.
