Well, then try and show us 'tis not a spam thread either

I think that this topic has a narrow chance of becoming a funny one. If the threads goes that way, okay if it's just a store for useless posts then padlock will come

Seriously, do you think lions are immoral somehow for being carnivores? Why should humans not eat meat, IYO?

not sure whether that question should be in 'why you believe...'
buddhists do not eat meat. full stop.
but lions = carnivore = good - their digestive system is short enough to expel the toxins from meat, however a humans digestive system is so long that the toxins from meat stay in their system far longer - cumulative effects abound [or so the evidence would have us believe ]
even if i was not buddhist i would not eat meat, i don't think that it is right, sentience issues

You're right, this prob. isn't the thead to elaborate on the issue. Thanks for your answer! Maybe if you're in the hotseat on the why you believe thread, you could elaborate.

Wow, you sound really sure on this. Most Christians I know say the believe God created life, they're not stating that God beyond any doubt actually did it.

I doubt that you and I would agree on who to call a fundamentalist, or what it means!

("why you believe" thread, anyone?)

Most human beings are chicken about "offending" people.

Now I'm not going to joke about whealchairs, or skin color, but when I'm right you'd best be the same....

Is "fundamentalism" knowing you're right and saying it?
If that's not wanted here where arguments are fun then we are a race of chickens!

This thread has gone irremediably off topic (if there ever was a topic). If you want to discuss creationism/evolutionism there are threads to to that effect. Closed right now, but surely it won't be forever.
