Beau Geste

This is a great book. Half action, half not, half mystery, half not... it's a really neat 'whodunit' kind of tale. I will admit it gets a little boring in spots, but in general it's witty and a good read. Good characters, good plot, neat sub-plots.

Another year's gone by, and I was thinking once again,
How can I take this losing hand and somehow win?

Just give me One Good Year To get my feet back on the ground.
I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found
One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down.
I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!

I've heard of this...In fact, I think we have it somewhere. Maybe I'll go dig it up and read it .
