That's pretty cool. RotK deserves to win everything it's up for.

How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn’t. They kept going because they were holding on to something." Britsh Academy of Film and Television Arts. ROTK won 5 awards: Adapted screenplay, Visual Effects, Cinematography, Audience award, Best film.
Us Brits will try to convince ourselves that these awards have some sort of relevance outside of the UK. |

Yey, too true.
I don't know why we still call them the 'BAFTA's' though. It's not like many British films won any awards. Only a couple did.

Unfortunately PJ lost Best Director to Peter Weir.
I wouldn't be too worried about that category for Oscar, though, since PJ and FoTR both won at BAFTA two years ago.
