Apocalypse Now - Re-release
The Cannes Film Festival has begun.
FFC will present there his newly edited and extended Apocalypse Now, re-inserting for example the French colonist episode that I could only read about in books for all these years, with maybe a few photos stills... I wonder if this will destroy the movie's flow, or add to its magnificience. I hope it will keep its integrity, and even gain more along the way. I also hope they'll put more of the Kurtz/Brando improvised monologues. I read that all in all about 50 minutes were added. Crossing fingers............ |
