John Irving
Hey!
I'm almost through with Owen Meany. I have to say I love that book. Like all other John Irving books I have read yet. He is such a brilliant writer (my favourite, after Tolkien). Has somebody in here read some of his books? Did you like them?

A Prayer for Owen Meany & The World According to Garp both feature on my Top 20 list of favourite books. I loved Owen Meany the most (can't you just picture his little voice in yer head?)
I must say I wasn't very impressed with Setting Free the Bears or The Watermethod Man. Both lacked the depth and 'oomph' that Owen Meany & Garp had.
