Unknown elf

Who guided turin away from the orks after he killed belleg strongbow? I know it was an escaped elf from Angaband but cant remember name.

Hello! The elf was Gwindor son of Guilin. This is the wrong forum for this, so I'm moving it to the Silmarillion forum. Also, there is already an active thread there about Turin Turambar in which you may post questions about him, if you have any others, or you may post your thoughts about him and his story, etc. Closing.
