Ringers: Lord of the Fans

hey guys! haven't been here in a while! hope everyone's doing well

yesterday i got my copy of ringers: lord of the fans. did anyone else hear about it? it was being heavily promoted by theonering.net. if you haven't seen it, you really should; it was a very interesting look at how Tolkien effectivly shaped 20th century culture. it was cool!

I've been reading about it and it sounds like a fun and interesting movie. I'd like to add it to my Tolkien collection but I'll probably wait to see if I get any Christmas $$ and use that to buy it.

they did really well with the parts about fans too. it was weird to look at us as a community from somewhat of an outsiders point of view. there were a bunch of people that were interviewed and i found myself saying, "god, do i sound like that?!" lol
