Allegro non troppo, 1976, directed by Bruno Bozzetto and Maurizio Nichetti

Fantasia, 1940, directed by James Algar and Samuel Armstrong

Spirited Away, 2001, directed by Hayao Miyazaki

There are probably more, but these three immediately sprang to mind.

Does Nightmare before christmas count? I love that movie! If not then The Lion King, Princess Mononoke, or Ghost in the Shell (er, that might not count either)

The first movie I ever saw in a cinema was The Jungle Book. My father took me to it as a christmas surprise when I was 7 or 8 years old. I still like it very much.

I remember another Ralph Bakshi movie ( not LotR) with a character in it riding a red animal like a dinosaur and a small wizard in a post-apocalyptic world. How is it called and is a video of this film available?

Astellian nobles don't exert themselves in any way, so they have no concept of human endurance. The serfs take advantage of that outrageously. Astellian serfs have been known to collapse from sheer exhauston at the very mention of such unpleasant words as 'reaping' or 'digging'."
