I thought it was an excellent film. I saw it on opening day and have been mulling about it since, wondering what to say... I will write up a full review eventually. But in short, it was terrifically well-made.

I'd like to know if it was any good or not, for future reference (on Friday nights when I can't figure out what movie to rent )

I don't have time to write out a review, but I thought the movie was excellent. I think it's one of the best for this year. I loved it.

Has anyone read the book? I am interested in reading it. The movie was just incredible, I was wondering how much of it is true and if anything had been added or changed.

Rosie, go ahead and see it in theatres, that's what I recommend.

Oh, well, y'see I've already spent too much money on theaters already, I doubt my mom would let me go see another movie. Besides, I'm trying to save my money for TTT and ROTK. Not to mention patterns and fabric for a LOTR costume to wear to ROTK.

I just watched it and I like it a lot. It's really good. I've also read the book.

Same. I read the book first, and then watched the movie. I think the movie is more enjoyable, because you know a lot more background & learn about events they don't portray in the movie. They really had to cut the true story to make it feature film length.

Yes exactly. I feel that way about most movies that were first books. Seabiscuit was a very long book.
