Which is your favorite?
What is your favorite name of characters with multiple names such as Aragorn or Gandalf?
If you don't remember them, here are a few for Gandalf: Gandalf Mithrandir The Grey Pilgrim Now for Aragorn: Aragorn Elesar Strider Dunedain

I Like 'Olorin', for Gandalf too. I also 'Mithrandir', for him as well.
I Like 'the Lady of Lorien' for Galadriel, the most, I think. |

I don't like the name 'Gandalf'. Mithrandir is the best.
For Aragorn - Aragorn. I like Galadriel's name too, and for Varda - Elbereth. |

I know this thread says strictly the favorite name of characters with multiple names, but what about places?
I just have to throw out there that the woods of Lothlórien had many beautiful names, but I think the most beautiful was the one which Fangorn called them, 'Laurelindórenan' As for the characters, I really like Merry and Pippin's given names of Meriadoc and Peregrin, and also the name of Galadriel.

I've always liked the name given to Tom Bombadil by the Elves. Iarwain Ben-adar (which means ''oldest and fatherless'') has stuck in my memory since I first read it three decades ago.
