Yeah, The really were different from what I pictured but I guess everyone pictures them differently. But still, they were all viney...less tree like than they should have been. but oh well..

The ents were very well done I thought, but they were not at all how I imagined them. At first I didn't even realize that were talking to each other. (You know, when you hear a noise that sounds like creaking saddles?) I pictured their 'hoom's and 'hom's to be more like the sound of a horn blowing, not as inconspicuous as the way they did it in the movies though...
I still thought that the ents were excelent, even though I think the parts with them in it were the most boring parts in the entire movie... What happened to Quickbeam? Treebeard was the only one, err ent, I should say,, who acculy had any dialoge at all!

I reall liked the the Entmoot. The way they started it during the day and ended it at night was really cool, and I also liked the way that the Ents moved back and forth during the Entmoot(like it describes it in TTT book). Also, I could tell who had read the books when Treabeard said 'Don't be hasty'. They were the only one who laughed But my favorite Ent part was the beginning of 'The last march of the Ents'

Boring Ent scenes? The lack of Ents was probably my biggest complaint of TTT. I wanted to see Treebeard's home with the waterfall, and Ent-draughts drunk and more Ents at the entmoot.
Oh well, only 10 months until the extended version is released. |

Actually, I think it was two different Ents. I might be wrong, but it looked to me like the one who got shot had more fire on him than the other. And since the second one was, naturally, after the first, the fire would have spread over him more. Of course, that's just how it seemed to me.

I like the Ent with the big green twiggy beard...not treebeard.
In Isenguard he was crouched down a bit and was swinging side to side bashing all the orcs out of the way! lol! he was great! Does anyone else know which one i mean? |

I do. I loved the ents. I like the way they are pretty much loyal to the book- apart from the part when Treebeard is hasty and decides on the spot to go to war. The way he spoke (So slowly) and the way he looked was brilliant. They were not boring - far from it.

Not big enough - they actually looked rather frail. Not ancient enough. Not deep or slow enough. They reminded me of big walking Gumbies. Remember Gumby? That big green rubber creature? Yep, that's what the Ents reminded me of.

I thought the Ents' limbs were too long. I figured that since they were (if you're being really basic) just intelligent walking trees, they should have longer, thicker bodies and their arms should be thinner and pointing up, like branches.
