In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.' 'Then Tuor arrayed himself in the hauberk, and set the helm upon his head, and he girt himself with the sword; black were sheath and belt with clasps of silver. Thus armed he went forth from Turgon's hall, and stood upon the high terraces of Taras in the red light of the sun. None were there to see him, as he gazed westward, gleaming in silver and gold, and he knew not that in that hour he appeared as one of the Mighty of the West, and fit to be father of the kings of the Kings of Men beyond the Sea, as it was indeed his doom to be; but in the taking of those arms a change came upon Tuor son of Huor, and his heart grew great within him. And as he stepped down from the doors the swans did him reverence, and plucking each a great feather from their wings they proffered them to him, laying their long necks upon the stone before his feet; and he took the seven feathers and set them in the crest of his helm, and straightway the swans arose and flew north in the sunset, and Tuor saw them no more.' -Of Tuor and his Coming to Gondolin "Oh. Wow! Welcome to the Moot Natalie. I looked at your website, you have some very beautiful work!
In LotR, the scenery, weapons, props and sets were all beautiful, and probably my favourite part of the movie. I hadn't noticed the door-handle in Orthanc. I'm reminded of how much detail went into this part of the movie.

OK, thanks for the tip.....I'm a bit sluggish today.....the trolls have been running through my mind.
http://www.sirren.co.uk/images/p_2.jpg I'd love to have that one. BTW, I didn't recognize any from LOTR or was it just examples and not from the movie she posted.....remember I'm frazzled today. Thanks again.

ooooooo k but I never saw those in the movie and I've got the dvd verson of TTT. I haven't seen ROTK yet so perhaps its there. Then too perhaps your eye is quicker to pick up on those things. Appreciate your clarification.
I still like the girl.

WOW
Your work is awesome Natalie! I have always been facinated with the architecture and landscapes. And whenever Rivendell is on screen I am still captivated, but Frodo's bed and Elronds bookcase are still my two top favorites I think. did you help on that as well?
I asked my mom if I could have the bed and she said yes, if I made it. I just laughed and said that I would make it everyday ater I woke up. she just laughed and rolled her eyes.
